Installation instructions for 185, 193, 195, and 205 series
Hideaboard Models:
Note: The rough opening for a Hide-A-Board is 14-1/4" wide by 48" tall.
Before you do anything decide what height you want the ironing board. We will call this the desired working height.

Find a wall cavity between studs 16' on center with no obstructions in the area that you want to install your Hide-A-Board.
To establish the bottom of the rough opening subtract 7" from the desired working height. (If you have your board at 36" then the bottom of the rought opening is 36" - 7" = 29")
Cut the rough opening 14-1/4" wide by 48" tall.
Shim sides of cabinet and attach to studs with 4 screws through both sides of the cabinet into the studs about 12" from the top and bottom.
Install the door with the desired swing with the three hinges provided.
Finish with paint or stain to suit your decor.
Pleaae note: Wireing of optional #26 Electrical package should be done by a licensed electrician. The 120 volt wiring should enter the cabinet in the upper left hand side.
